Three boxes are filled with fruit. One of the boxes contains apples, the second contains oranges and the third contains a mix of apples and oranges. The boxes are marked with the labels “Apples”, “Oranges” and “Mixed”, but all three labels have been placed incorrectly. Additional conditions: The boxes are located very high up, and so it is impossible to look inside them. You cannot touch the fruit with your hands or smell it :) Question: if you can take only one piece of fruit out of a single box, is it possible to determine which box contains which fruits and to apply the labels correctly? Explain your answer.
