There were a couple of harder questions about how I might design for a particular challenge they were currently facing, but those were hard only because at this point you have none of the data a UX professional would normally use to base decisions on at that point.
Well the developer I had the meeting with had no idea of technical aspects of design so it was dull and had loads of chit chat
Various general questions, none specific. They were more concerned with the fact that I didn't look the part: as a polite, well educated woman, not very tall, they were concerned that I wasn't tough enough. Next time I will be very rude, so maybe men will be convinced that being rude means being tough. I was very amazed at how much sexism there is still around.
PM to me, after 5 months of phone interviews: "Where are your graphics? Show me the graphics!" – this for a executive product lead/director-level role.
