It was one of those bizarre problem solving scenarios. The point of these questions are to observe how you mentally attack problems, do you think outside the box, do you get ruffled. The point is they want to see HOW you think and solve problems. Sometimes there is no solution! This is a good time to demonstrate your competence with presenting at a white board. Get on the board when appropriate and when you have a CLEVER idea in mind. This can backfire if there is no point to using the white board. RELAX!!
