He asked me if I knew it was a commission only job off the bat. I didn't, so we mostly talked about the position. I asked questions and he answered. He said if I was interested and decided that this was something I wanted to do to give him a call and he would set up another interview.
There wasn’t really any questions about where do you see yourself in five years or anything like. The main questions were why do you want to be a loan officer, what motivates you And a question that came up several times during the interview is how you deal with stress, and rejection.

My interview was atypical in that I was sought out by them, a friend referred me to management.
There were a lot of questions about "how did you do this?" "what did you do when this happened?" and there were some questions about processes and procedures. two people asked the questions and the third wrote down your responses. when I left there was only one of those managers left.
