They wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the fast paced environment and flexible as things change regularly and a good candidate needs to be able to adapt.
What drew you to apply for this position specifically at our organization?
I had listed that I had ten years of experience in religious non-profits but in an effort to keep my resume under two pages had not listed every organization I'd worked with. I was accused of lying on my resume even though I provided examples of other religious non-profits where I had worked. Having now interviewed at five other locations, no one else has raised these concerns and it was clear that they just brought me in because they wanted to hear about the other charity I worked for. I regret going to the interview.
