After the class ended, and I received my prize, Dr. Schlaf sent me an email asking me if I would like to be a TA for the next semester.
They expect you to learn the recipe for everything on the menu just to interview for the job and would not give out any info about the job opening (such as shifts available) without going through their process. This is a bad use of their time and the applicant's time.
