The job was advertised full-time salaried with benefits. It was made clear in the interviews the job came with extensive overtime and travel, and that the firm was looking for a cultural long-term fit. At the end of last interview, it changed suddenly. I was asked if I would be willing to do the job for a few months on a contract basis? This offer was unexpected and did not match the rest of the interview experience.
