Actually, none of it was difficult. They had asked for a Test Plan and I quote "Please create a test plan for the create account section, and a game within the app called "Brain Shift". I created the most organized and comprehensive test plan imaginable. Keep in mind there were no specs, no hint on how they currently do things, or what they are even looking for. I am very glad I did not hand over my 20+ bug list. (I would have done so if I was given an onsite interview). Received a generic letdown letter. "you do not seem to be a good fit" yadda yadda. I was hoping for a bit more feedback on my test plans themselves. So it must have been another reason. Just be careful with them, they might have you jump through hoops and string you along with every indication that things are 100% great for you to come onboard. Do not hand over bug lists until you get an onsite. I almost felt as if they were using the interview to receive free work or insight.
