Ms Sql Database Administrator Interview Questions

26 ms sql database administrator interview questions shared by candidates

Interview process was a phone screen and a two part onsite interview which was very grilling at some points. Overall I decided not to take the offer based on the compensation package not being competitive enough as my current package and my job counter offered me to stay. Overall the process was excellent from the first call to the final interview and offer. I would consider in the future and look at their openings and benefits if I'm ever in the market again.

Detail what occurs during a DBCC CHECKDB command. In hind site this was rediculous because the DBA who interviewed me had turned off all database consistancy check jobs on all customer servers because he didn't understand what the previous DBA had done. It would up being an example of customers paying for something they weren't getting.
