HR round - tries to understand why i left previous companies - demeaned me saying we can't offer how much you are expecting despite being told my current and expectation from start. - Tell me that we have multiple employees having same set of skills earning less and can't disturb the parity for an aspiring joiner. - Gave a pity increment and asked me to perform and take another better appraisal( got pretty pissed of at this point) - Told me that i need to organize my thoughts as startup pay what you are expecting not a stable company as ours( blew my head off) and told me that talking to you in half hour i knew that you have problem in your thoughts instead of the company. I told her outright that I cant work in said salary a I have already rejected offers much higher than this , she didnt show any flexibility in changing the remuneration. she should have read reviews of their company first as they would be lucky if i join their company as all red flags are there in the reviews itself. Please take care of good candidates that come for interview, given your rating you really cannot bargain with good people. Be flexible with remuneration a single Lakh rs. increment makes candidate happy while it is only a dent of ~10k in company pockets. You might have several other people with same skill but everyone is not equal.
