The assessment test was a one-hour test with some simple (for a programmer) programming tasks and OR questions. I ran out of time and answered only 5 questions out of 17 I guess. My background is Math and Economics, and I didn't have time to review my OR courses in my Bachelor's, and to prepare for the test in general. I think an OR student can easily pass this stage.

The second round of the interview process is a timed brainstorming project to come up with a new application for Applecart's technology. This exercise, coming up with a new product, helps you really get a sense of what Applecart does and lets the company see how you think and problem solve.
