The trickiest issues with Oracle form me was around comp and quota. As small business owner, I generally met or exceeded the OTE for this position, but I do not generally pay myself through W-2 or have a traditional territory quota. Don't get me wrong, I sell for a living but I also run the business. The question of earnings came up a few times, and I explained my documented earnings several times and provided appropriate tax documents showing my significant income, but it seemed the team which deals with compensation just could not get their hands around the issue.
