It was more about me, what was important to me, how they would get the best from me, an outline of what I'd done in the past that was relevant. They seemed more interested in my fit as a person and there were a few behavioural questions too.

Both behavioral and situational questions. Example: What was the most challenging recruitment process you were responsible for? Why was it a challenge? What steps did you take? What was the result?
How did you handle difficult employees? What is the philosophy of HR from your point of view? Why did you leave your previous position?

My preparation for the interviews was critical. Consequently, I was never really uncomfortable during the interview(s). There was a nice mix of behavioral, situational, and experience verification type questions during the process.
