They then had me do a test where I was to describe an invention as if it were in a patent.

Many of the questions posed have been mentioned by others here already, but I was additional asked, "what would be the perfect job for me". A bit of time to think that one through ahead of time would have been nice.
They asked pretty standard behavioral questions. They also asked about my education and past work experience.
Interviewer seemed a little unprepared. Asked about past projects, what department you were interested in, why you want to work there. All pretty standard.
If you have more than one task, how do you get them done?
The interview seems to be largely scripted and has been fully described in the other comments. There will be plenty of time for the obligatory "what questions do you have for me" to establish a connection with the interviewer and demonstrate how you interact with people over the phone (which is really an important skill for this job).
