Since this was an analytical payments heavy position a lot of questions around the payment space as it relates to Uber and potential expansions they could do. You should be able to synthesize vague requirements and understand how to execute on process improvements with stakeholders given those requirements. What are some potential challenges within the payment space in other countries? How would you overcome obstacles when trying to set up payment vendors? How would you choose between two payment vendors based on Uber's business model?

The most important question was: Was there a problematic situation which had a negative impact to clients which you resolved with your initiative? How did you solve it?
Recruiter and hiring manager: how to deal with many many many different segments and ways to slice up data? How do you make things more efficiently and automate things (through some kind of ETL tool) to make your work more scalable? The case study was about understanding the 4-party model, looking at data that has very unoptimized routing and figuring out how to optimize payment routing to save a ton of money.
