I was asked to go over my master's thesis.
What are the expected outcomes of your research?
lasts for half an hour and more than 10 people research panel, ask for research experience, role of experience, what's your future plan, why PhD, GMAT/GRE score and so on so forth
Most of the questions were about my previous project. With a sound understanding of the project rationale, they are easily answerable. Other questions involved my reason for the choice of the institute and what my plans are after PhD.
What do you know about time series
- why would you like to move to sweden? - why would you like to do this particular program? - tell me about a time when you had an issue during your master’s thesis project
Wave equation Laser physics Fiber optic principles and many many other things. Basically anything around physics, maths and optoelectronics. Interview lasted over two hours and was purely technical.
