Most PIs will simply ask you to talk about your research. Keep your explanation structured and focused on the big picture. Aim to clearly state your research question or hypothesis and explain the logic behind it—all within about 5 minutes. Avoid getting lost in methodological details during your overview. However, be prepared for very specific follow-up questions, such as those about particular experiments, antigens, or microscopy techniques. You should be thoroughly familiar with every aspect of your experiments.
