research experience
It was a really easy interview, but it may depend on a case
Questions about my PhD work, skill sets, personality and career goals. Nothing odd or unexpected.
Where do you see yourself 5-10 years from now? How do you plan on getting there? All other questions were research specific, on experience with certain techniques, plans for tackling a particular type of research question, etc.
What would you like to work on?
What is your strengths?
It was about 50:50 questions about my research and ideas about how to approach problems or projects in the labs. Some questions about motivation, future plans, expected length of stay.
No relevant as I moved with my PI from a different place
As always giving examples of your strengths and weaknesses as they relate to the position that you are applying for seem to be the most difficult question. Be prepared in terms of knowing the research of those you are interviewing with and you should be fine.
