Questions validating my functional knowledge. Questions to test my willingness to roll up my sleeves and "do" rather than just direct the work of others.
My main conversation with the design director focused on behavioral questions, things of the "Tell me about a time..." variety. This struck me as odd, considering that there were still open questions about the nature and depth of my experience. He didn't ask to look at my work, and we spent very little time talking about my background.

Each one asked about my varying experiences but wanted to make sure I would fit in with the current team in place. So it ranged from technical (within my competency) and behavioral questions
