No "gotchas" during the interview.
Nothing out of the ordinary except being shut down rather abruptly a few times
Questions were very straight forward and not unexpected.
Wasn't one. Interviewers weren't even sure what I was there for. Senior person hiring was let go weeks later. Waste of time.
Nothing special, they ask the typical questions eg name 3 negatives of you. They have generally good HR people, because they were the only ones to find out from my cv my biggest flaws.
"We have another opening that you should look at...never mind, the hiring manager would be ticked off"
Normal questions were asked
I was being asked how I would handle managing my area under some theoretical circumstances. It required a fair amount of thinking outside of the box as those condition would be "black swan" and very unlikely to happen or for anyone to have experience handling them.
