We were asked how we would resolve an employee attendance issue, plant-wide. We were told that the current method included a points system where each employee was issued a certain number of points depending on the manner of their absence (late-in/leave early with and without notice, total absence with and without notice), with a maximum number of points being reached resulting in termination. Points dropped off one year after being issued.
