They asked me a lot of questions that I wasn't expecting, didn't ask me anything about my job experience or character, but instead only wanted to know why I took engineering, why I chose electrical, why I wanted to specialize in control systems, how I fit into the world of engineering and what I expect from industry. I am a new grad and haven't had any industry exposure so I had a hard time answering a lot of the questions. Seems odd to ask at this point in my career why I took engineering when I already have a degree. Very odd interview.
Are you comfortable giving presentations to other scientists and engineers.
Do you understand PLC code, and can you write it.
Do you play any sports? (Need to be able to lift certain amount of weight for job)
