How to record a security deposit from a tenant, describe the journal entry. Alot of it was hammering into how much I knew about specific accounting for properties because they told me they dont want to have to train at all. but that's just what they were looking for at the time the team seemed very nice and there was not even a specific position that needed filling I just won the chance to interview.
What experience do you have that pertains to this position?
Don't recall getting any of the tired, ineffective questions some companies still cling to (strengths/weaknesses, "tell me about a time you asked someone about a time" and so on). "Why are you looking" came up.
They ask you about yourself, hobbies & a rundown of your resumé. I was nervous at first but the interview was mostly conversational after this. Everyone answered all of my questions at the end and described the company culture in detail. That was a plus. The part that made me rate this a neutral was HR kept asking about me being a mother and details about my previous pregnancy. (Returning back to work after a year) It's almost as if they thought being a mom and returning back to work was going to be difficult as a mother. I Also never received a rejection email. HR stated that I would be hearing back from them in a week. Still haven't received anything going on week 3 now. It's possible that I just wasn't the right cultural fit (that's fine) but an email would've been appreciated. I despise ghost culture from companies and recruiters. Hire management also asked "Do you think you're ready to be back at work or would you want to be a stay at home mom again down the road" That was an odd thing to ask because I applied for the job meaning I was ready to be back full time and in office.
What are some of the red flags you would see in an organization that would make you not want to work for them?
