I was asked about my prior research experience including what projects I have been working on, what kinds lab techniques I have experience with, etc.

They asked a lot about my research experience, like the techniques and types of analysis used, and what others I would have considered using if available.
The questions were EXTREMELY technical with many of the questions aimed at making sure I understood the concepts behind the techniques I had used at my previous research internship. If you apply and cite previous work on certain projects make sure you understand the background concepts for each project you worked on, especially any skills you employed during the project.
