Standard ball probability questions, basic coding, a calculus question, some basic linear algebra, some ML, a data question about identifying data that is uncorrelated but not independent.
Questions about ridge regression, practical/design aspects of supervised learning problems, some transformations of random variables, etc.
I do not remember the exact questions but it was heavily focused on Markov chains.
Signed an NDA, but most questions were very open ended and required “practical solutions”, although some coding problems and puzzles/brainteasers obviously had right/wrong answers. My feeling is that they really try to make sure you’re a cultural fit to TS collaborative culture.
3 Q for the OA with one linear interpolation and one prediction of the temperature of the city based on 5 towns. The last one is the bonus and just increasing the number of towns.
