Classic marble weighing problem, you have 12 marbles, one of which is different weight from the other 11 (but unknown whether it's heavier or lighter), and a two-sided balance, find the odd marble using at most 3 weighings (each weighing only reveals whether the two sides are balanced or if one side is heavier).
