Manager was happy to have me, very few questions asked.

Could you provide an example of successfully managing a challenging timeline or budget? In this role, you will be handling multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities. How do you organize your work, and what tools do you use to stay on track? Can you give an example of a time you dealt with challenging stakeholders or navigated a sensitive situation with them? What was the situation, what did you do well, and what could you have done differently? Please describe a time when you managed a project that faced significant unforeseen issues. How did you handle the situation, and what was the final outcome? This role is part of a team that provides strong support to the wider Estates team. How have you worked effectively as part of a team in the past, and what three qualities do you believe make a team successful? Could you walk us through your thought process when developing a business case, options appraisal, or another key document that would be submitted to senior management for decision-making?

The interviewer did not ask any particularly difficult or unexpected questions. In fact, she told me that in my spontaneous conversation I had answered virtually all of the questions she was planning to ask. The only specific question she asked was how much I expected to earn after 2 years with the company
