Before the first interview with the recruiter, I was sent a personality test and then I had a call with the recruiter, which went well and in the call he said I’m going to the next stage. I didn’t get any info about the salary even though I asked, recruiter sounded confused and tried to avoid to tell me what is the salary for the position and asked me what are my expectations. In the second interview which was 30min, I met with two team members. The call was going well, they were asking me about some different scenarios and my experiences. I didn’t realise that 30 minutes went by so quickly and one of the interviewers wrote that has to leave and just dropped out of the call. The other interviewer was happy to stay a few more minutes, which I appreciated as I thought that there were more things to be discussed. I asked about the next stage and I was told that the next stage would probably be a home test to assess my seniority. I haven’t received any updates from them for over a week, which I thought was weird and I sent an email to ask about the updates. Got an email back on Friday at 6pm that I didn’t pass to the next stage. I asked for some feedback, so I could understand why I didn’t pass to the next stage and to help improve, but no answer from the recruiter. Very disappointing as I thought the interview went well and I already have experience for that role. They are still looking for that position. Overall interview process was okay, not so clear what are the stages of the process or salary.
I completed a virtual assessment through HireVue, which included three video questions and three interactive games. The video questions were quite similar and repetitive, but you had the opportunity to re-record each answer once. The assessment was relatively short overall. The interactive games provided immediate feedback on working style and personality, which was helpful.
