The second round was with a senior engineer from the same team. it was a coding interview on CoderPad(the research team uses mostly python). 2 questions, first one is basically the implementation of the equivalent of scipy.stats.rv_discrete.

1. A, B, and C are in the desert. A wants to kill C, so he poisons C's water. B also wants to kill C, so he cuts a hole in C's water sack to dehydrate him. a couple days later C dies of thirst. Who killed C? 2. You have 9 balls. One of them is slightly heavier than the rest (which are all the same weight). You can't tell which is the heavier one by sight or feel. In the least amount of effort, how od you figure out which one is the heavy ball?
