Give an example of a time when you had to revise the way you were teaching. How did you recognize the problem, and what did you do to fix it?
What are your academic strengths? Weaknesses? Did you take the SAT/ACT? If so, when? Describe your experience as a tutor or educator.
“How would you explain a difficult concept to a student who feels frustrated or discouraged?”
Basic SAT questions. Nothing out of the ordinary. I suggest watching Kaplan teaching videos to get a sense of how you should approach solving the problem and teaching the student.
Not many difficult questions. They do ask "hypothetical situation" questions such as how you would interact with a disinterested student or what would you do if the classroom is locked.
What would you do if you had a lesson scheduled for Saturday, and on Friday a parent calls you, furious that you didn't show up for the lesson she thinks was supposed to be that day?
How long do you plan to be in the city?
Describe your approach to a typical tutoring session.
There were no difficult questions; they just wanted to get to know you and your goals.
