Scheduling Coordinator Interview Questions

852 scheduling coordinator interview questions shared by candidates

I was asked the typical questions about my experience and resume, reasons why I was leaving my current job, why did I choose to apply to the company, salary, etc. However, after virtually meeting w/everyone - the process itself was a bit lengthy - but it was also done during the peak time of the pandemic. Once my interviews were concluded, the next step was for them to run a background check, which was VERY thorough. They have outside agency that conducts this service for them, which sends you an email, introducing themselves, along w/the steps they would be taking to conduct this service. One of the items I had to provide them with was a copy of my H.S. Diploma, which thankfully I had, but they STILL contacted my H.S. to confirm my attendance and graduation date. They also asked for the phone number of the H.R. Dept. of the company that I was leaving from, so they could confirm my employment status w/them. While all of this was taken place, they provided me w/a lab slip to have a drug test performed at a local participating lab . Those results came in fairly quicker than the background check. However, the Talent Coordinator @ NuVasive was excellent in keeping me updated as to where I was in the hiring process. I received daily emails from her even if it was just to say that they were still awaiting for a particular result of the background check. Once everything went through, I received a very friendly call from the Recruiter, who coordinated all of my interviews, whom by the way, was amazingly friendly, had a wonderful sense of humor, personable and just a genuine and fantastic person overall, [Kristin Codlin :) ], who verbally offered me the position and advised me of what the following steps would be. All-in-all, it took about 3-4 weeks, give or take before I was offered the job, but again, this all took place during the beginning of the pandemic, which I'm sure affected some of the steps of the hiring process. I've been working w/the company now for almost a month and absolutely LOVE it. Everyone here is so warm, welcoming and kind. They are always willing to help and are a fun bunch. The company itself, from what I've seen so far, is very good about keeping all of their Employees abreast to new resources, tools, learning and training processes, encouraging staff to participate in internal groups and community volunteering. It's a breath of fresh air to see a company care so deeply about their staff and their families. I really like the atmosphere and look forward in ending my career here.
