Senior Brand Manager Interview Questions
447 senior brand manager interview questions shared by candidates
I had questions mainly about my previous work experience. I provided a lot of examples of the marketing campaigns I developed and executed. Very easy. What I got from the interview and questions I asked them about brands development that I was overqualified for this role and it wouldn't be interesting for me professionally. They don't do any classical consumer brand marketing. I didn't get any feedback on how the interview went. Overall, I felt the whole interview process is not organised professionally.
Would you be interested in this other position?
Would your current manager would be surprised if you leave your current role? If your manager told you to never do "x" and then the CEO asks you to do "x" would you do it? How would your manager describe you after a couple of drinks?
Situational based questions - pretty standard.
How do you handle conflict?
How do you prioritize and balance multiple, demanding deliverables
Most of the questions were around previous experience, including how do you work with cross-functional teams, how do you think about positioning to target consumers, how do you think about product launches / new innovation? The interviewers wanted to see how you think and approach real marketing problems.
