The Director of Customer Success interviewed me in support of a major client who is located in Charlotte, NC. She commented on my southern accent as if it were a negative. I knew then I was not to expect an offer. This is very upsetting that I was overlooked for having a North Carolina accent when I hold both a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree and have 15 years of relevant experience.
