Technical interview they wanted to use 90 mins to live code, during the work day, and wanted me to code from scratch a shopping cart app where you add/remove items and they all display in a single line, the app would have a square shape etc. they gave me a visual before the interview of what it should look like...I declined. We have to stop these live coding GAMES and also thinking people have 90 mins during work hours on a weekday to do these interviews. I'm a React dev currently, I can't take 90 mins off of work. If you want to give someone a take home test, fine, but this live coding stuff is these typical interview games to stress you on the spot, then they wonder why they cannot find people for the positions. Know your worth devs. That live coding/coding over your shoulder is silly as not everyone does well right on the spot.
