They did ask someone to have a discussion with me. They had NOT read my resume as the lady interviewer started reading it in front of me. The questions were so basic and were not really domain or tech related. She was just reading sentences from my resume and I kept elaborating on each point. It was again pretty weird and looked more like a formality. It lasted about 20 min and suddenly she was done. I further had this strange feeling about where this is going. Next, the lady I met first came and told me the strangest thing possible. She said I had cleared round 1 but the person who should take round 2 is WFH. Hence she will schedule a Skype call with him and I was asked to leave. This was just a plain lie. The simple point is, they already must have shortlisted someone and plainly forgot to inform me. Pretty poor ethics I should say as someone invested a couple of hours leaving his office and gets this treatment.

In second round they were bombarding questions. This was knowledge based round. Questions were not tough but one of the interviewer attitude was not good and was very rough. Networking questions, wpa2, wep, http vs https architectural difference, negative test cases for notepad, radius server, api testing, stress vs load test, oops, basic os questions, can we hide ssid, osi layers in some detail, tcp dump, frame vs packet, bubble sort, sort huge file and many other questions like http error codes, put vs post vs get etc.
