A mix of behavioral and technical questions.
Round 1 - general review your resume questions and a couple of general behavioral questions Round 2 - deeper into specifics with the hiring manager. he reviewed the position in detail, and wanted to cover very specific experiences that I had that were similar to what they were looking for based on previous projects. A few behavioral questions as well but very typical affair. This was a very casual conversation. Round 3 - Very casual atmosphere during these interviews. Make sure you ask your HR representative what to expect and how to prepare, and you'll be over prepared. Panel 1 - Very laid back and was just a great conversation for me. Q: If we had hired you and you were now looking to hire someone for this position, what characteristics would you be looking for? (Division Head asking) Panel 2 - hiring manager with the case study/hypothetical supply chain situation. This is more about how you approach the problem rather than getting it right. He wanted to see how I approached the problem with the data provided and what was the entire thought process. Make sure that you walk him through your thinking from how you cleaned the data, set up your model, and your end analysis. NOTE: there is not enough time to actually solve this problem, so just do what you can and then walk the hiring manager through how you would approach the rest of the problem. Panel 3 - This panel was with a current Sr. Supply Chain Analyst and someone from the Data side of the house. Again very laid back. They were asking questions very focused on what types of systems I had used in the past, and how I approached building dashboards and telling a story with data. Q: How do you approach telling a story with data? Q: How do you approach ad hoc data analysis tasks when you have other projects with an upcoming deliverable? Which do you prioritize and how do you make that decision? What's your process?
