Each of the six interviewers asked several behavioral questions tied to the Amazon leadership principals, such as: * Tell me about a time that you used customer feedback to make a dramatic change in your documentation.* Tell me about a time that you sacrificed in the short term for long-term results. What was the long-term result? What did you learn? (Often, they had follow-up questions.) * Tell me about a time that you had to document something quickly without having all of the information that you would have liked. * Describe a time when you spent many, many hours learning how something worked so that you could deliver accurate technical documentation. * Tell me about a time that you were involved in a planning meeting and disagreed with the group's decision. How did you react? Did the issue come up again later?

Tell me about a time you encountered difficulty in your life.
"Tell me about a specific time when...." cut through the Miss America answers and forced me to be honest about what I really had contributed, beyond just showing up and doing your duties, at my old position. Also, asking me about my samples--shocked me that they'd actually reviewed them in depth and had questions! Every answer I gave them prompted another question, like explaining "why" to a 3-year old, only these guys knew what they were asking about!
They ask you how you have dealt with making mistakes as well as what you're particularly proud of in your career.
How comfortable are you doing fairly dull writing?
What is your experience with Apple Products?
One thing different from other interviews was that they asked me to go through the slides that I prepared during the writing test. I heard from a couple of other agencies that the face-to-face interview will include feedback on the writing test, but Lucid were the first ones to actually do it. I admit I didn't prepare for it (after a couple of previous interviews where it was promised and didn't happen, I though it'd be pointless to prepare - my bad!)
