Signal Processing Engineer Interview Questions
143 signal processing engineer interview questions shared by candidates
One section of the interview process was to do one-on-one interviews with 5 of the people there for the presentation. Each interview was 15-20 minutes, and consisted of: a few further questions about your experience and/or past projects; 1-3 technical questions, all dealing with communications systems theory (statistics and processes dealing with analog and digital signal transmission/reception). Most of the questions dealt with encoding/decoding of a digital signal (constellation points, noise, correlation, signal-to-noise ratio).
What is the kernel trick in SVM? How does PCA work? General questions about digital system design. What are the two kind of digital filters ? and then general questions about them, i.e why are IIR more often used, what do you have to pay attention to, etc ?
If you have multiple measurements of targets Range and Azimuth, how do you use them to arrive at a single accurate value of that target's Range and Azimuth?
General questions. My background. Basic signal processing questions. Things related to Fast Fourier Transform. A bit advanced knowledge of spectra manipulation and properties were asked. Adaptive signal processing schemes. Basic scheme Independent component analysis (maybe due to my background)
What is an eigenvalue and eigenvector?
Neural network without multiplication
write a function in C that calculates the nth number of Fibonacci sequence
The question was testing the basics and the core of Digital Signal Processing, and a little bit towards C++ implementation.
What is a courier Fransform process and how is it used?
