I recently interviewed for an SDE2 role. Compared to other companies, I found this interview a bit more challenging. The focus was mainly on Linux internals, Kubernetes, and AWS—with deeper scenario-based questions that tested both conceptual knowledge and hands-on experience. It was a good learning experience overall and gave me insights into how much emphasis is placed on system-level problem-solving and cloud-native architecture at this level.
