How do you see the course of your career at our company/how long would you like to work in Japan?
1. Codility was a hard math question, which was weird and I thought I didn't pass, but I did. 2. Technical interview with an engineering manager and a senior manager from Japan. Overall it was very easy and only one easy leetcode question was asked. I solved it very fast and the managers seemed satisfied. 3. Behavioural interview with another engineering manager. No technical questions, and was asked about some questions on my tech interest, leadership experiences, etc. Overall was easy and the interviewer seemed to like me. I found it surprising that I was rejected in the end and when I asked for feedback, there was only positive feedback and no negative feedback. I am guessing it is due to some headcount or visa eligibility issue since this position is based in Singapore and I am applying as a foreign worker. Not sure about this tho.
Case Interview - Toledo Case Study.
The question regarded a 2-player game called "Dots & Arrows", where each player would be able to add an arrow on a 2D plan according to some rules and receive a point if he closed a square. Given the board at a certain time, I had to determine how many points each player had won.
The question was probably a leetcode medium and involved working with a tree data structure.
