Describe a time when you worked with a group to accomplish a goal and what was your role in that group?
Video call interview walked through my resume, all projects and Intern experience. Onsite interview was worst with one of the interviewer. Easy questions on using hash maps and data structure related questions. Some basic c++ questions and OS related questions. I had not mentioned c in my resume and they expected socket programming, this they informed me only during the onsite round. This was the reason they gave me for my rejection as well. My question to the HR and video interviewer guy is, if they wanted a specific skill why dont they tell me at the beginning. HR certainly bragged a lot about the company , stock values and they handled me so badly through their interview process. I am very lucky i got rejected from them. Organization is definitely doing very good. The HR who handled my candidacy and 1 interviewer onsite are probably the worst people i have come across interviews. I certainly look at reviews on glassdor and i have never written reviews till now. This company interview process made me do so.

For the phone interview, they asked me why I wanted to work there and to describe a project I was proud of and why. The online assessment was very interesting because it was divided into three parts. First they give you some easy math problems but you have to answer them really quickly. They then teach you a made-up programming language and ask you questions about it (it is meant to test how quickly/well you can learn). Finally they ask you four coding questions, which you can complete with the language of your choice (but cannot test it or search anything up).

Live Presentation: The objective of this virtual assessment centre is to provide you with a ‘day in the life’ experience on the Kingspan graduate program. Therefore, for this task, you are asked to imagine you are already in the role and that you have to meet with senior stakeholders in 30 minutes to give them a summary of the Eco-Haven project you’ve worked on and answer any questions they may have. The information we’ve shared with you gives you all the details you need about the Eco-Haven Project. We’ve also shared some general customer feedback and market research on sustainability. Your senior colleagues may also ask questions about customer feedback and market trends, so you should also include some of these insights in your summary to them. You have 30 minutes to prepare a short summary of your thoughts and 10 minutes to present to your senior colleagues. You should not take any longer than 10 minutes to share your thoughts (although you may be able to cover all of the key points in less time). After you’ve shared your thoughts, your colleagues may have further questions or points that they wish to clarify, and they will have 10 minutes to be able to do this. It is important to note that although we are trying to ensure your experience at this assessment centre is as realistic as possible, all of the information you’ve been provided with is fictional and does not reflect any current Kingspan projects.
