Can't remember the exact questions but they were trying to understand whether I would be a good cultural fit and how keen I am. Due to the technicality of my role I have received questions around GoCardless API and RESTful APIs.

What is you knowledge about Windows and Linux? Have you worked with active directory, How would you distribute the same security policy onto two different host? What is requires, For example you have 100 hosts and you would like to apply the security policy onto 5 hosts? you have created a group polices, do you apply the policy on the organisation unit or where? have you been working with Citrix? Tell me what is xenapp? what can xenapp do? Have you every published a xenapp application on you own? Is ICA encrypted by default? if you would like to publish an application to more than one user, how would you do this? have you worked with ThinApp? Have you ever access a Linux server? How do you list the routing table in Linux? How do you list the ip address of a Linux machine, what is the command? if you would like to break into a Linux box, EG: you lost your password, how would you gain access to the Linux box? What is the purpose of Citrix netscaler? could you describe what is a LoadBlancer? if you would like to LoadBlancer a traffic, what is the first thing to configure? for example you have 10 servers, how will you perform LoadBlancer on these servers? What is SSL offloading? What is GSLB? How to do GSLB redundancy, For Example: you have 2 static websites one in the US and the other in the EU and both sites are LoadBlancered with some sort of LoadBlancer and you will like to have the EU users access the EU website and the US users access the US website, what is required to get this to work? What is IPS and IDS? How does an IPS and IDS work? what is the difference between the Next Generations firewall and a regular firewall? Why have you stopped working at your previous position? How would you imagine this role as a solutions architecture?
