Traverse a 4x4 array of number 1-16, but in spiral fashion going from outermost to innermost. Write the code for it. Its easy if you are doing this on a weekend and thinking through this, but to get it 100% correct in an interview, they must be really stupid to use this as a qualifier question, for software qa engineer?

Traverse a 4x4 array of number 1-16, but in spiral fashion going from outermost to innermost. Write the code for it. Its easy if you are doing this on a weekend and thinking through this, but to get it 100% correct in an interview, they must be really stupid to use this as a qualifier question, for software qa engineer?

Since I am a seasoned veteran in the industry there were nor many questions, but rather a lot of salesmanship from a couple of people showing me around. When I met with the manager the real reason why I was asked to come in after hours became clear. The company is currently having a fire sale and cleaning house of people. From the top down. Not a good sign
