How do you troubleshoot a Network connectivity problem?

The interview was casual. The questions where around my experiences based on my LinkedIn resume. I asked questions about diversity and discovered that the team was all men with no previous female SEs ever in these roles. At the end of the 1 hour interview I was asked about my salary range.
