Really there wasn't much to the phone screen - he was bored or not happy with his job and did not have any experience really to understand my qualifications. He asked a few questions and because one doesn't know what will ever be asked in a phone interview, so where to focus, and I didn't have an answer off the top of my head doesn't mean I don't know over the course of my 16 year career.
Competency based questions so things like "Can you tell me a time when a project is going wrong, what did you do and what did you learn from it" and then "Can you tell me a time when you implemented a new process and how did it go?"
