You get 30 minutes to analyze an excel sheet full of data and give them a “quick solution”. Very ideal interview for an analyst right?

- Asked me to describe the formal/ fractional reserve banking system in great detail. - Outline the advantages and disadvantages of commercial banks vs mobile banking or fully pledged digital banks. - Presented me with various scenarios and asked whether or not MPESA, or firm X, should, or should not, partner with firm Y.
For personality they can ask you questions about strengths, weaknesses, why this company, why your particular field of study, and then some questions like why is ball round or why is red called red which is meant to test your quick and creative thinking. For Case interviews it is mostly McKinsey style with an open ended question and it develops more into a conversation. For example they can ask you how much revenue can be generated from the cricket world cup being held in Pakistan.
