I had to explain why my unconventional background would work well for the role I was interviewing for. I was prepared for this line of questioning, but it was still tricky.
What experience do you have with working with medical students?
They asked a variety of questions on how to support different demographics of students. This campus had a large international and commuter populations so they asked specifically for those groups.
