The full day shadow was going well at first - I was taken to coffee and the trainer explained to me what the company does. They then took me to shadow them at an "event" with the client. This event consisted of walking around the subway station soliciting donations. This turned me off as I wasn't expecting the "direct marketing" to be that direct with consumers. While waiting for my final interview with the CEO, I chatted with the other interns in the waiting room. I found out we were all there for different internship titles, but we all noticed that we'd be doing the same duties despite what our title descriptions said - very interesting and questionable.
