I have been interviewed for a system engineer position working with an infrastructure management tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes and the questions were related to troubleshooting application running on k8s and one more on Terraform.

Technical Questions: Explain the differences between stack and heap memory. What is polymorphism in object-oriented programming? How does a hash table work? Write a function to reverse a linked list. Explain the concept of RESTful APIs. What is the difference between SQL and NoSQL databases? Coding Problems: Write a function to check if a string is a palindrome. Implement a binary search algorithm. Given an array of integers, find two numbers that add up to a specific target. Design a class for a deck of cards. System Design: How would you design a URL shortening service? Describe how you would build a scalable chat application. What considerations would you have for designing a distributed file system? Behavioral Questions: Describe a challenging project you worked on. How did you overcome the challenges? How do you handle tight deadlines? Give an example of a time when you had to learn a new technology quickly. How do you prioritize tasks when working on multiple projects?
