Interview Questions I gave TCS NQT after 15-20 days got an email that I am shortlisted for Interview Got mail for TR I day before the interview Technical Interview - 24 Sept 2022 1. Introduction 2. 10 and 12th Marks 3. What technologies I know - I said C++,C,HTML,CSS 4. He said, you are from IT do you know JAVA and PYTHON - I said i have used both in my 2nd and 1st year respectively so I have a basic idea. 5. He asked me to write a code for string whichever I want in any language. I wrote code for Palindrome. 6. Then he asked me to add try and catch in the palindrome code. I couldn't recall the syntax so I explained him how it works. 7. Then he asked me about whether try and catch works in C. He tried to confuse me there between C and C++. 8. Further he asked me if I know OOPS, then asked me to put the palindrome function in class and call it in main by creating an object. 9. He asked to declare a variable in Class and print it by calling it in the main. 10. He then asked me that I want to build a website which has 3 input box and returns the result of division in 3rd box. So the question was what validation you can set for division. Ans - I said we can check if denominator is zero or not. 11. Why TCS. 12. Any questions for me - I asked him about growth in company down the line for next 5 Years. What training is provided. HR INTERVIEW - Got mail after 1 day for HR Interview which was scheduled very next day 10 pm 1. Introduction - I mentioned I'm working on my problem solving skills 2. She asked what do you mean by Problem Solving - I said I'm solving daily problems on coding platforms. 3. How you tackle or solve daily life problems - Analyze, Think, Create a Strategy, Implement. 4. Is it possible to make strategy every time - I said no. 5. Have you interviewed for any company/ applied somewhere else. 6. What will you do if any other company gives you a better package than TCS. I almost got trapped here this might make or break your interview. 7. Do you have any plans for higher studies. Even I have a plan. I said no currently I am looking for job opportunity. And experience in IT Industry. And in coming years I might think about it. 8. Why do you think experience will be important for higher studies. I said idk whether it will be useful for me in higher studies or not. But it will help me grow professionally as well as personally and this skills might help in future. 9. Are you open to all Domains. 10. Ready to work in shifts. 11. Ready to Relocate. 12. Preferred Location. 13. Any Question - Company Culture, About responsibilities for TCS ninja profile, Growth of Company.

Then asked some basic questions related to Python (key features of python, list vs tuple, Why it is Interpreted Language). Then Started asking Situation and Behavioural type of questions like how do you handle pressure(Explain with situation), If one of your teammates dumps all of his work on you how would you react to that situation, how do you handle conflicts with coworkers, What makes you different from all other people in this panel for hiring you.
